DESCRIPTION:Come join for the ritual of "casting off\," an opportunity to r
eflect on the\noutgoing year and imagine the incoming one.\n\nTashlikh is
a ritual which invites us to physically embody the spiritual\npractice of
	teshuva (return\, repair) by merging soul-accounting contemplation\nwith t
he material action of casting stones* into the water.\n\n4:30-6:30pm in Pa
	rc Daisy Peterson Sweeney\n[https://www.daisypetersonsweeney.ca/daisy-pete
	rson-sweeney-park-and-street/]\n(2652 rue Rufus-Rockhead).\n\nWe will star
t with a kid-centric version of tashlikh oriented towards our\nyoungest ke
hilla members (but open to all ages) and move into havruta (partnered\nstu
dy) with some questions and short texts\, storytelling\, and song. You are
\nencouraged to bring musical instruments!\n\n\n\n*while many have the cus
tom of throwing bread into the water during Tashlikh\, we\nhave opted to i
nstead throw pebbles or stones because it is less disruptive to\nthe sacre
	d aquatic ecosystems.
